Three College Observatory

Sign ups will soon be open here for the April Statewide Star Party at the Three College Observatory, south of Burlington, N. C. on April 4, 2025 (rain date is April 5).  View the skies through the 32-inch telescope at the Three College Observatory, one of the largest telescopes in the southeastern US.  Tickets are free but they are required. 

You may sign up for a variety of times beginning at 7:45 pm.  This will make the viewing through our 32-inch telescope available to a much larger group of people than our typical public nights.  We will also have some activities for younger kids (typically 2nd grade and older), as well as outdoor viewing and other astronomy-related activities.  Bring your lawn chair if you would like and enjoy our wonderful night skies.
